Radio Aire's Cash for Kids

Terry is the one of the patrons of Radio Aire’s Cash for Kids. Each year they support thousands of children from birth to 18 years old who are sick, disabled, underprivileged or who simply need extra care and guidance. They do this by providing grants to individual children, other children’s charities, community groups, schools and health organisations. All of the money raised locally, stays local and helps children living in Leeds and West Yorkshire. Radio Aire’s Cash for Kids is most well-known for Mission Christmas and putting a smile on the faces of thousands of local children with the generosity of the public donating Christmas gifts. These children were at risk of waking up to nothing on Christmas Morning.

Lisa Sullivan Charity Manager:  “We are proud and honoured to have Terry George as our patron, he is so passionate about being directly involved with our charity and not only is he our patron but he is also on our exec board. Our exec board meet regularly and make the decisions on where the grants go. Every Christmas one of Terry’s bars, Fibre, collects monies for us for Mission Christmas and every year they donate at least £2000 which is very gratefully received. I have accompanied Terry to many events where I have been introduced to new supporters courtesy of Terry and this has been invaluable in growing the Charity and our supporters. I can not speak highly enough of Terry, a local businessman with a genuine heart of gold”
